paper, wood

A paper tablecloth on an authentic table from a house in Partizánska Ľupča, a village in which I spent
my childhood. The shape of the tablecloth refers to the topography of the imaginary landscape; a model of
the village as I remember it grows out of it.
The urbanism used is not based on reality but references a specific personal experience, a dream and a memory.
The creation of the model is a follow-up of the work “Private Urbanism” from 2009, in which I attempted to draw
an urban map of Ľupca as precise as possible from memory.
